DESCRIPTION:Candlelighters Family Camp for children with cancer and their families \nClick here for complete sign-up information  \nFriday\, June 6 to  Sunday June8 2025 \nCamp is held at Camp Lawton\, 12900 E Organization Ridge Rd\, Mt Lemmon\, AZ 85619. \nCamp Volunteer Training: Saturday\, May 31 2025\, 10:00 a.m.- Noon. \nFountain of Life Lutheran Church\, 710 S Kolb Rd. 85710. Room #10. (Call for alternate arrangements if you miss this date).\nGroups coming to help with meal prep do not need to attend this training but must be pre-registered to volunteer. \n  \nNeeds of the camp include:\nEnthusiastic and empathetic persons seeking to help children and their parents have a fun camp\nweekend.\n Craft\, sporting and outdoor talents.\n Work well and safely with children and teens.\n Help children/teen age groups rotate through archery range\, rock climbing wall\, crafts\, etc.\nActivities are provided by certified Camp Lawton staff.\n Camp fire “sing a long” talents. (Guitar or knowledge of appropriate songs)\n Help with meal prep\, serving and cleanup for one meal time(6 different times)\n Let me know your talents and skills\, we can always incorporate new activities.\n Adirondack/cabin accommodation\, 78000 feet elevation – check with your medical provider\n Gator drivers needed \nPlease RSVP or for more information contact Beverley at 520-777-4911 or info@candlelightersaz.org.\nAll meals are provided for volunteers.
