DESCRIPTION:September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. To honor and remember local children and their families affected by childhood cancer\,  a candle lighting Ceremony is held in the Inspiration Garden at Diamond Children’s\, Tucson. Candlelighters CCFSA provides the candles and refreshments. This is a child friendly event\, In the case of inclement weather we will move to the inside entrance of Diamond Children’s. \nSeptember is also Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Highlighting and recognition of the challenges a family faces with an SCD diagnosis are included in this ceremony. \nSponsored By\n\n \n
