Tucson Toros Game - August 31, 2010
Candlelighters is selling Tucson Toros game tickets for Tuesday, August 31. Tickets are being sold for $3.00 each. To purchase or sell tickets, please contact us today. The funds raised will be used to supplement our emergency financial assistance fund.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Candle Lighting Ceremony on September 20 at UMC at 6pm
We will be holding our annual Candle Lighting Ceremony on the front lawn at UMC in conjunction with our People Who Light the Way Awards Ceremony. The awards are to honor and thank those who are a beacon of light to children with cancer.
You are invited to join us to light a candle in honor or in memory of a child with cancer. The event starts at 6pm.
Candlelighters Childhood Cancer - Take a Hike!
On September 25, 2010 Candlelighters will be holding our inaugural walk at Silverlake Park. Registration will begin at 8am and our official start is at 9am. See our link for more information.
Registration will begin on August 1, 2010. The registration fee will be $15 per person. Childhood Cancer survivors will not be charged a fee to participate, infants to age 3 do not need to register.
We are in need of help! We are looking for sponsors, in-kind donations and volunteers to help us with the day of the event. If you would like to help or make a donation, please call or email us.
