Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next stage of growth.
The Executive Director is responsible for day-to-day management of the organizations activities. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for helping children with cancer, excellent interpersonal communication, and broad organizational skills. Primary responsibilities of the Executive Director include service to families with a child with cancer, volunteer management, fundraising, marketing and communications activities, development of Board capacity. This is a contract, part-time position and offers no benefits.
Current Executive Director Terry Nordbrock recently completed a Master in Public Health and now seeks to work full time in environmental health. Specifically, she plans to work for a decrease in the number of children diagnosed with cancer, by reducing carcinogenic exposures for children and their parents.
